Q1: Do you take requests? ("Can you draw me?")
No, I am sorry I am not doing free artwork / requests. I only have limited time and I am trying to use that for projects, work and commissions that keep me busy besides real life. Regarding commissions, please see next question.

Q2: Do you take commissions?
I do take commissions once in a while (quite rarely, depending on my time). I am sorry I do not keep a waiting list. The best way to stay up to date about open commission slots is to subscribe to my Mailing List. I may also cross post the info on my Telegram News Channel and Twitter.

Commissions like pencil sketches will usually be available at conventions if time allows, or sometimes as pre-orders.

More Information can be found in my commission section.

Q3: Are you currently open for commissions?
If I didn't announce any available slots on my Mailing List, Twitter or my Telegram News Channel, I am not open for commissions (this does not count for Recolored Mood Badge Sets - you can always ask me for these). Please note that I can't send out personal announcements when I am open for commissions, that's what the Mailing List and my accounts are for.

Please see Question/Answer #2 for more details.

Q4: Can I upload / repost your images?
  This is fine for me:
... if you upload artwork of mine with giving proper credit (either my name, a link to my gallery or to the original artwork). As long as there is no confusion or pretending that the artwork was yours, that's fine with me, I am happy you enjoy my art.

If you got a Recolored Mood Badges Set, you can use the images for a Telegram sticker set. For more info please see the Mood Badges section.

Please DON'T:
... upload my artwork to websites like Photobucket, Imageshack, etc. There is often no way to give proper credit, many of those sites claim a certain usage right on uploaded images (which you are not allowed to give because you are not the copyright owner). Please be respectful and don't upload other people's images without permission or giving proper credits. If you found an image on Google, you still need to respect the copyrights.

Please note that copyrighted characters may not be used for roleplay, avatars, etc. (if you are not sure if a character belongs to somebody - please either ask or don't use it). Pictures that were done for you may be used and uploaded as you like.

In videos (YouTube etc.):
It depends on the video. If it's for example only a slide show / collection of artwork that you enjoy, that's fine with me (artwork should be unaltered and credit given somewhere). If it's a video with a message, please ask me first. It's also not ok to use other people's artwork and claim it would be your characters (for example a slide show of "your wolf pack" but showing artwork by other artists of characters that do not belong to you).

Q5: What may I use your pictures for?
  This is NOT OK:
  • Any commercial use (including virtual shops like Second Life)
  • Altering / Editing my artwork or my signature
  • Tracing my pictures (without at least giving proper credit)
  • Copying my artwork or character designs
  • Upload/Offer my artwork at online print shops (commercial)
  • Using my artwork in any inappropriate way
  • Using my personal characters (as avatar, for roleplay, etc.)
  • Using copyrighted characters I drew (that belong to others)
  • Using commissions (I did for others) without their permission

This is fine with me:
  • Using my art for personal things (e.g. birthday card,...)
  • Using random characters I drew as avatars, for roleplay, etc.
  • Drawing my characters / fanart
  • Coloring sketches of random / anonymous characters (give credit!)
  • See #Q/A4 above for uploading and video issues
  • If a picture was done for you (commission, your character), you can do whatever you want with it (no commercial use, unless agreed before)

Q6: May I use your characters for roleplay / avatars?
NO. My personal characters (like TaniDaReal, Savoy, Daiquiri, Michonne, the WeuUkoo Wolves, etc.) are NOT allowed to use - not for roleplays, as avatars / user images / icons, etc. These characters are very personal to me and partly represent me. Please be respectful about that.

Same goes for any pictures that I drew for other people showing their characters. Unless you have the owner's explicit permission, those characters are not allowed for use.

Random, anonymous (un-named) characters I drew (and that don't belong to anybody) are fine for roleplay/avatars, if credit is given.

Q7: Are you taking fursuit or plush animal commissions?
No, sorry I do not offer fursuit or plush animal commissions.

Q8: May I print your pictures on a t-shirt / Can you send me the file?
I do have several pictures available as t-shirts. If there is a picture of mine you would like to have on a shirt, feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do if I can add it to my gallery so you can order it there. If it's a commission I did for you, you're free to do whatever you want with it as long as it's for personal use (not for re-selling or commercial use, unless otherwise agreed).

Please understand that I will not hand out my high resolution files (unless it was a commission for you).

Q9: What will you draw?
I will draw most anthropomorphic and animal art (preferrably feral but also anthro), including fantasy creatures like dragons, taurs, gryphons, etc. I usually prefer natural landscapes and environments, but I am not limited to that.

Examples for what I will not draw are humans, partly human fantasy characters (like fauns, elves, dwarfs, etc.), pongids, complicated technical things like machines, robots, cars, space technology, as well as extreme violence or fetishes I am uncomfortable with.

There are certain species that I don't feel comfortable drawing, like pongids (lemurs etc. are totally fine) or for example anthropomorphic fish/marine or insect characters. I may say no to a request when I am not feeling comfortable with it.

Q10: Do you offer prints?
Yes, there are regular DIN A4 prints available of most of my pictures. For further information please visit my Prints page.

Some pictures are also available as larger Jumbo prints. The ones listed on my website are available any time (not limited), other Jumbo prints and poster or canvas prints are limited/numbered and only available at conventions (Art Shows).

Q11: Do you have art tutorials?
I do have a few, you can find them in the Tutorial section.
Some more, general advice and tips you can find here.

I also started uploading timelapse videos of my digital art and tutorial videos to give more insight about how I draw:

Also check out galleries with search options like DeviantART, there you always find a lot of nice tutorials by other artists as well.

Q12: Where can I find your artwork online?
A list of my galleries you can find here.

Q13: Do you mind if I draw your characters?
Of course not. :) Receiving fanart is the greatest compliment an artist can get. I feel very honoured about it and love every single picture (Guest Art Gallery). If you're posting it, please add a little info whom it was for / whom the character belongs to.

Q14: How did you learn how to draw?
I am pretty much all self-taught. Long-time practise, motivation and love for what you do are the key. I have been drawing animals since I can remember. I started drawing furry art in 1999, and I always loved watching cartoons and animated movies as inspiration to draw my favourite characters.

Sometimes I wonder where I would be today if I had internet and the variety of tutorials and courses there are now, but the most important thing that kept me going was loving what I do.

Some tips about drawing I have learned over the years I have listed here on my website.

Q15: What programs do you use for digital art?
I mainly use Adobe Photoshop, as well as some other programs occationally. More information about drawing programs you can find here.

The more I am using a Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet and Wacom Mobile Studio Pro. Further information about my experience with different graphic tablets and models you can look up here.

Q16: Do you do art trades?
I am usually busy with projects and commissions. Occationally I may be open for an art trade, but it depends on my time. Please don't be disappointed if you ask me and I have to say no.

Q17: Can I color one of your sketches?
It depends on the picture. The best way is to please just ask me. Usually I am fine with it, as long as following points are respected:
  • Only sketches with random / not copyrighted characters are ok for that
  • If the sketch shows your own character (commission or gift) or you have the permission of the character owner
  • Proper credit must be given for the original sketch and that it was colored by you (to avoid confusion)
  • Please note that the colored sketches may not be sold in any way
  • For practise only, this should not become a cheap way to get free art

Q18: About your Mood Badges...
I get a lot of questions, like if I can make a Recolored Set of your character, what moods I currently have available, if I can change the drink on the Party Mood badge,...

You can find an extra Mood Badges F.A.Q. here.

Q19: Do you do Telegram sticker commissions?
No, not at this point. I have created some stickers, but they still take me too long to offer them as commissions.

If you have commissioned a Recolored Mood Badges Set from me, yes you can use the images of your Set for Telegram stickers.

P1: Can we be friends?
Honestly, a friendship is nothing to ask for. Friendships happen and develop.
It's a gift of trust and knowing each other that needs time and work. It's not a contract both sides sign and then they're suddenly friends.

P2: Can I chat with you?
Feel free to talk to me if you see me online, I don't bite. :)
But due to my work I probably won't be online much. I will always do my best to answer your messages and questions, but please understand that I probably won't find time for long conversations or talking every day (then I wouldn't get any work done any more ;) ).

P3: Can we roleplay?
Sorry, I don't roleplay and also don't have the time for it.

P4: Can you give me critique / redlines on my art?
I don't always have much time unfortunately, but I will do my best to answer and give advice. It will help if you ask for a specific advice or example (for example "what's wrong with the anatomy in this picture"), rather than just showing a link to your mixed gallery and ask "what do you think about my art" (which is sometimes not easy to answer if there are many pictures in different qualities).

Usually I can't do redlines for everybody due to my limited time and because it's a lot of work. If I am currently at my computer and have time, I may do it occationally. But please understand that giving proper advice and critique does take time (which I sometimes don't have, even if I wanted to).

I also focus on listing general art and drawing tips and advice here on my website to motivate and support other artists to improve.

P5: Can you teach me how to draw?
Unfortunately I can't offer personal drawing lessons, I am sorry.
Currently I am also not offering streams. If that should change I will announce it.

However I am trying to provide some useful information, links and tips about drawing on my website, like:

General tips for drawing
Tutorials Motivation tips
Helpful tools
Useful website links
Book tips

P6: Do you have ICQ, MSN or AIM?
I still may have one of those accounts, but I don't use them any more.

To make sure you're really talking to me and not a fake account, please use my verified accounts mentioned on my website here.

P7: Are you visiting conventions?
Yes, there are several furry conventions I visit regularly, including some new ones every few years. I will announce conventions I will attend on my social media accounts.

P8: Which social media do you use?
I have Twitter, which I use the most for communication.
The more I am on Instagram and Tumblr.

I also have an old LiveJournal account, but I am not using it any more.

P9: What is your Mailing List about?
To keep people up-to-date about open commission slots, conventions and new artwork for sale, without having to check your FurAffinity account every day. I will cross post important information on my social media accounts and Telegram too, but people on the Mailing List definitely have a better chance for getting a commission.

You can subscribe to the Mailing List here.

P10: Do you have a Guest Art section?
  Yes, of course :).
Every picture I received is highly appreciated - I love artwork by other artists. :) Here you find the Guest Art Section - (sorted by characters). Thank you to everybody for the wonderful pictures! :)

P11: Where is the package (order) you sent to me?
I will send out packages/orders after payment arrived.
Usually a package takes 3-5 days within Europe, and 7-10 days for international shippings. But depending on where you live, it happens that the postal service takes longer than usual. If not mentioned otherwise, it will be shipped via Deutsche Post. If you would like extra insurance / tracking, please let me know.

If the package still didn't arrive after a reasonable time, please contact me again so we can work something out.

P12: Can I create a Schnolf?
Actually what I call "Schnolf" is just a snow leopard / wolf hybrid, which is not a copyrighted species, so yes sure, you can make up your own hybrid character as well. I don't have a copyright on this (except my character design).

However, as "Schnolf" has also become a kind of nickname for me (mix of the two German names), I would appreciate it if people would call their species "snow leopard / wolf hybrid" (or use an English mix word like "Snolf"). However, I can't keep anybody from using that name for their species too.

Please just do not use my character design and be creative to come up with something on your own. :)
